The spread of Methycillin Resistant Staph infections is a major problem in hospitals. To this end, CA Senate Bill 158 mandates that hospitals train personnel in the prevention of spread of MRSA infection. Marsha Koopman, of UC Davis, presents an update on some hospital procedures to help control the spread of these antibiotic resistant infections.
